Associates in the fantasy sports industry were surprised and saddened by the news Monday night that Jackie Zieger, award-winning FFL commentator, had passed away.  Zieger, whose health had been ailing for the past several months, died at about 9:00 p.m. from complications related to kidney failure.  FFL spokesman Joe Jacoby released the following statement upon receipt of the news: "We are very saddened at the news of Jackie's passing.  Middletown, CT and the entire FFL community has lost a friend, a family member, and a colleague.  Jackie truly was an institution.  We will remember her fondly for her affinity for Velveeta dip, her fear of drinking glasses, and her unwavering professionalism as an FFL journalist.  Her quirky yet endearing personality set her apart as a special dog, and she will truly be missed."
