Forbes Magazine recently estimated the monetary worth of the twelve FFL franchises, the values determined as of January 2003.  Based on market trends, the league's rising popularity, and accounting for a modest year-to-year inflation, the Forbes financial analysts conclude that the average FFL team has a staggering value of $100.  Without a doubt, such a value suggests why the league's franchises are owned and operated exclusively by steel, oil, pharmaceutical and telecom magnates.  Deviations from this three-figure norm have been based on each team's average performance level for the duration of its existence (performance level based upon Bob Dayton's findings for the FFL's historical 1992-2002 Power Rankings.)

2003 Forbes/FFL Online Franchise Values

1. New York Z-Force            $152.48
2. Boston Thunder                $118.43
3. Montana Blazers              $107.19
4. Phoenix Conquistadors     $105.53
5. Miami Miracles                $103.48
6. Middletown Syndromes    $92.65
7. Chicago Black Sox           $91.96
8. Kansas City Blockers      $88.57
9. Dallas Knights                  $83.42
10. Atlanta Predators           $80.75
11. Charleston Challengers $78.77
12. Waikiki Tsunamis          $43.94
